Further Accreditation

AES are pleased to announce that we have recently been awarded UKAS accreditation to the MCERTS performance standard for the latest CEN standards for stack emissions sampling and testing.
The standards; BS EN 14789 determination of volume concentration of oxygen, BS EN 14790 determination of the water vapour in ducts, BS EN 14791 determination of mass concentration of sulphur dioxide, BS EN 14792 determination of mass concentration of nitrogen oxides and BS EN 15058 determination of the mass concentration of carbon monoxide have replaced older ISO standards in Environment Agency Technical Guidance Note M2.
As a result these standards are required under the MCERTS hierarchy of methods when performing MCERTS stack emissions work.
Accreditation to these newest standards, along with AES’ current accreditations for particulates, dioxins, metals etc., ensure that AES can continue to offer a full suite of MCERTS tests for stack emissions, carried out by one of the largest teams of fully MCERTS qualified staff in the UK.
Air Emissions Manager Mark Elliott commented “I see this latest accreditation as a natural progression in our commitment to quality and am delighted to offer these additional services to our clients”
