Local Exhaust Ventilation examination & test
Our tests are exhaustive
Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems are one of the most commonly used engineering controls used to minimise the amount of a harmful substance released into the working atmosphere at source.
Regulation 9 of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002 as amended states that all engineering control measures provided by an employer should be: maintained in an efficient state; in an efficient working order; and in good repair. It further states that employers must ensure that thorough examinations and tests of these control systems are carried out at regular intervals (normally at least every 14 months) and suitable records are kept.
